Laminated print of mixed media collage of images from Kelly's vintage ephemera collection and snippets of words from old novels re-assembled into new stories. These images and words are hand-stitched, embroidered, glued, and sometimes beaded on a painted leather or fabric background. a strand of glass beads with 3/4" charm dangles from bookmark.
Charm is hand carved bone monkey, though not carved by us.
Words on the front: TREATS OF ARITHMETIC. the schoolmistress put this sum in his hands? must have the money at once. "Hush! I was counting them; now I have lost one." and all was mystery "Counting what, you small elf?" wandering attention.
